Setup/Enable Contracts and Deliverables in PO

The following describe the base setup for enabling Contracts.  There are two ways to leverage Contracts.

  1. Using PO – “Purchasing Contracts” – Integrate contract terms with a Contract Purchase Agreement, PO, or Sourcing document.
  2. Using full blown Contracts – “Repository Contracts” –  
    1. Created in using the Workbench.
    2. Can include:
      1. License agreements
      2. non-disclosure agreements (NDA)
      3. merger agreements
      4. purchase agreements
      5. sales agreements
    3. Are outside normal purchasing flows and full execution capabilities are not required

   Procurement Contracts

Set the following profile option to “Yes”

PO: Contracts Enabled

Set the following at the OU details in the Orgs window:

Using the responsibility: BE Contracts Terms Library Administrator setup up the following:

  • Number Schemes      (O)
  • Sections                     (R)
  • Folders                      (O)
  • Clauses                      (R)
  • Contract Templates   (R)

Using the responsibility: BE Contracts Workbench Administrator setup the following:

  • Contract Roles           (X )
  • Risks                          (O)
  • Contract Types          (R)
